Lors de la pandémie de COVID-19 début 2020, la demande de dépistages naso-pharyngés a explosé. J’étais à l’époque interne et mon chef de service mettait en place une grande plate-forme de dépistage du virus par technique PCR. Pour faire face à l’afflux des demandes, il a fait appel à moi pour mettre en place un système de garde afin de pouvoir faire fonctionner la plate-forme la nuit. J’ai sollicité l’aide des internes que j’avais déjà rencontrés lors de mon internat ou plus récemment lorsque nous nous étions portés volontaires pour réaliser des prélèvements naso-pharyngés lors du premier confinement. Avec leur soutien, j’ai géré l’organisation fonctionnelle et administrative de cette garde. Grâce à cette équipe de renforts, la plate-forme a pu augmenter son débit d'analyses.
