Lors de ma thèse j'ai essuyé un certains nombres d'échec, par exemple, j'ai travaillé pendant 1 année sur un matériaux avant de me rendre compte que celui-ci ne conviendrait pas pour mon projet, au bout d'un an j'ai du tout recommencer avec un nouveau matériaux. Cependant ce n'est pas repartir de zéro c'est apprendre de ses erreurs et rebondir sur ses échecs, grâce à cette manière de penser j'ai pu développer un nouveau matériaux en 1 mois grâce à ce que j'avais appris mais également grâce au soutien et à l'accompagnement de mes pairs. J'ai été capable de maintenir mon engagement et ma motivation face à cet obstacle.

Le sujet de ma thèse était inédit et unique : je devais construire le premier modèle in vitro de disque intervertébral. Ma première année de thèse a donc été consacrée à l'élaboration de la stratégie. J'ai du me renseigner sur le domaine, observer mon environnement pour trouver des points de rupture et de nouvelles tendance auxquelles personnes n'avait jamais pensé. Une fois ces points décryptés j'ai pu élaborer ma propre approche et façonner mon sujet afin de produire un produit inédit, innovant qui pouvait contribuer à la stratégie de l'entreprise.

Lors de mon docotrat chez RMeS j'ai eut l'occasion de diriger un projet de recherche pluridisciplinaire, j'étais donc en collaboration constante avec des biologistes, ingénieurs et physicochimistes. En travaillant avec des profils très variés sur un sujet dont j'avais la responsabilité m'a permis de développer mon leadership. Afin de mener à bien le projet j'ai appris à convaincre et obtenir l'adhésion autour du projet, bâtir de alliances avec des corps de métiers qui n'ont pas l'habitude de travailler ensemble, gérer les moyens humains sans lien hiérarchiques.
