An aspect of your own experience that demonstrates this skill :
During my industrial PhD, I collaborated with engineers in an company environment and biologists in academia. This experience taught me the importance of embracing diverse inputs and perspectives. The dynamic environment required to have different viewpoints and approaches to problem-solving. For example a microfluidic system was developped for a specific biological assay however from the company point of view we had to think about how to have a broader impact and generate interest for similar features: thinking in general features vs thinking in specific biological results.

Managing change

An aspect of your own experience that demonstrates this skill :
During my PhD I changed supervisor three times and each of them could give me something different so i had to adapt with respect to the help and discussion I could have with my supervisor. I also went on secondment for 10 months completely changing environment and expertise of the people around me.
I believe I have reached the PHASE 1 of development of this skill.

The work of my thesis was strictly related to market study, during conferences I approached researchers that could be interested in microfluidics and talk to them about their project and needs. During my secondment at the Medical University of Vienna I was in contact with scientists from a different department that were interested in microfluidics.
