During my 3+ years in academic research, I have developed skills and expertises in the field of network systems (with interdisciplinary subject in data science, fault injection methods, and software defined networks). Firstly, I conceptualized the research problems and questions that I wanted to investigate. From the problems, I contextualized the implementation to find the answers and solutions, addressing the challenges and building the argumentations of the research finding. This includes the analysis of the evaluation through the synthesis of research reports (paper, academic talks in conference/seminar, presentation to different levels of audience). Doing research means I have to find informational data on the scientific topic and present them ethically. I use a wide range of resources such as Google Scholar, Researchgate, online libraries (such as IEEExplore, Science Direct, etc), and also visiting on-site libraries. To organize the information and annotate the finding, I use Mendeley resource management. Managing huge data can be daunting, so I used the metadata, for example, I can use DOI to import bibliography to my document. My data are synchronously backed-up online to ensure preservation of the data together with descriptive metadata. I use citation alerts and a searchable RSS feed to be up-to-date on new progress in the field.

I lead my research project with guidance of my supervisors. I plan, do, delay, delegate, and eliminate works based on the priority. In addition to the professional projects, I have experienced leading and supervising a team to organize the biggest Indonesian student sport competition in South Korea. At that time, I considered the best choice for multiple parties, for example, I chose the host city of the competition in the centre of South Korea, so that people from the north and the south would not need to travel too far. I give instructions and advices as a leader while considering feedbacks of the people I am working with. My belief is that I put trust on people while developing the trust as the time goes by. I am always eager to improve my leadership skills and the projects I work on.
