I hold a bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering, followed by a master's in Earth Sciences. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Seismology and InSAR, focusing on the Caucasus region at Unistra.

On seismological side, I have a solid understanding of automated methods for processing seismological data using python (obspy module), including artificial-intelligence techniques for detection, association, and location/relocation of phase picks. I have developed statistical skills to distinguish between different types of seismic events, such as earthquakes, swarms and anthropogenic events. On the geodetic side, I have foundation in processing of InSAR images using NSBAS (New Small Baseline Subset).

I use Zotero a powerful reference management software, to efficiently collect, organize, and cite bibliographic references. Besides materials in English I collect Russian and Azerbaijani bibliographies, for effective sourcing and referencing of previous published materials. I also use Seafile, a secure file synchronization and sharing platform with my supervisors, to store and access research documents and data. Additionally, I use Obsidian, a note-taking tool, to create structured and interconnected notes.

I maintain weekly basis communication with my supervisors to share findings and problems I face. Additionally, I benefit from the guidance and support of their director in Azerbaijan, Gulam Babayev, who assists me for local procedures.
